Short Bio of Dr Ken Ife

Dr Ken Ife is an Economic and Business Development, Export and Investment Development, Trade Policy and Trade Facilitation Expert representing Africa Business Round Table in the Strategic co-operation with UN Agencies(UNIDO, UNECA, AfDB, FAO, ITC); EU-Africa Business Summit at Brussels and Africa Union’s Regional Economic Communities. He is also Lead Consultant to Economic Commission for West Africa (ECOWAS) and as well as Consults for World Bank, DfID, EU and UNECA.

London Enterprise Ambassador, Chairman of London Business Development Corporation, Founder Director of African & Caribbean Business Network, London, he served on various Advisory groups and Commissions of the Greater London Authority and the London Development Agency including London Food Board, UK Home Office Community Development Foundation and LBH City Growth Strategy, contributing to the new economic vision in London inner-cities.

Visiting Professor of UGSM-Monarch Business School and Snr Visiting Fellow of the University of East London Business School, Dr Ife has been guiding the work of ECOWAS Private Sector Directorate with the Strategic Framework for ECOWAS Enterprise Development and Promotion; leading Nigeria Presidential Task Force on Export of fresh Fruits and Vegetables and also directing the work of the Inter-Ministerial Task Force on Trade Facilitation in Nigeria and linking it to the medium and longer term programmes of ECOWAS and the Development Partners.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Click here for summary of consultancies
